THE TASK

Since 2019, RUSH has been a leader in the nicotine vaping industry. In response to changing regulations, the brand developed a new tobacco-free nicotine device featuring rechargeable capability, adjustable airflow, and mesh coil technology for a more intense, consistent flavor. Designed to meet evolving standards while delivering a premium experience, the product also reflects RUSH’s signature style—bright, colorful, and bubbly, capturing a fun and energetic vibe for today’s modern consumer.

MY ROLE

I was responsible for designing the complete packaging for RUSH’s 15-product lineup, including individual box artwork and display box designs. Each flavor had specific colors provided by the client, which I incorporated to ensure brand consistency. In addition to packaging, I also created marketing materials aimed at boosting product visibility and driving sales.

THE PROBLEM

In an oversaturated vaping market, standing out requires more than just bold graphics—it demands strategic, thoughtful design. With strict limitations on what could be shown on the packaging, flavor differentiation had to be communicated solely through color.

THE OUTCOME

My approach focused on creating a visually distinct identity for each product in the lineup using vibrant, carefully curated color palettes that instantly conveyed the flavor experience while maintaining a cohesive brand look. This color-forward strategy allowed the product to catch attention on crowded shelves while staying compliant with industry regulations.
